Contemporary/creative dance
Our Contemporary/creative dance class encourages young people to develop individuality.
The class is progressive and inclusive, students are taught in a safe environment where physical explorations can exist without rigidity, yet with focus, discipline and collaboration. Students create their own movements and short phrases through exploration and development.
They are encouraged to think independently, relate with others and have confidence in decision-making while learning.
The class consists of developing skills in choreography, performance, technical and appreciation skills, it has elements of Graham, Horton and Release techniques.
