Hannah started at Vestry when she was only 3yrs old and left at 18yrs firstly gaining a place at The Urdang Academy but then leaving to pursue a modelling career. She took all her RAD Ballet exams up to grade 8 and Advanced 1 in ISTD Tap and Modern. Hannah is a regular on the fashion scene and jets between London, Paris, Milan and New York but still pops in to visit us when she comes home to Walthamstow.
Lucy Hopkins joined Vestry when she was 11 years old and joined all the classes that were on the timetable. Her performance ability went from strength to strength and she later gained a place at Italia Conti Arts Centre where she trained for 3 years on the Musical Theatre course. Lucy gained her ISTD DDE teaching qualifications in Ballet, Modern and Tap. When she is in London and not dancing professionally Lucy is an active teaching member of Vestry.
Born and raised in Walthamstow, Kieran joined Vestry at the later age of 14. He began with once a week drama classes, but soon began taking more classes in singing, dance and performers, and could be found at the Vestry most days of the week. Kieran went on to train at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts. He has recently played the role of “Stella” in the musical “Fanny and Stella” and is currently part of a Jersey boys and Frankie Valli tribute band.
After leaving Vestry Kyle went on to train at The Urdang Academy. Kyle is now a successful dancer and model.
Jade started her initial training at Vestry school of dance studying all genres of dance and performing arts She then went on to study at Stella Mann College for a further 4yrs before graduating with a Diploma in Performing arts. Jade her took her ISTD DDE Modern and Tap exams and has just converted her Diploma into a Degree.
Laura was a pupil at Vestry from a very young age she gained a place at The Elmhurst school in Birmingham at the age of 14 which she attended for two years before moving back to London to complete her training at Central School of Ballet. After graduating with a BA Honours Degree Laura is now a successful dancer and has performed all over the world. When she is in London she is an active teaching member of Vestry.
Holly Weston was born and raised in Walthamstow, London. She had her early training with Vestry before training as a dancer full-time at The Urdang Academy and started acting classes at The Anna Scher Theatre from the age of sixteen, she also spent a year at The Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. Holly is a successful actress and model and is best known for her role as Ash Kane in Channel 4 Hollyoaks.
Sophie was born in Walthamstow and started dancing at Vestry school of dance as a child attending once a week. At 16 Sophie gained a place at the Brit school of Performing Arts and spent two years training in all aspects of dance. Sophie then gained a place at The Urdang Academy on the 3 year diploma course. Sophie graduated in July 2016 and has been cruising around the Caribbean and America as a professional dancer.
Christian started dancing at Vestry at 3yrs old and was soon taking classes in all genres. He took exams up to vocational level in ballet, tap and modern. At 18 Christian left to continue full time training at The Urdang academy. Upon graduating he landed his first professional contract as lead singer on a worldwide cruise. When not singing professionally, Christian teaches the Performers classes at Vestry
Born in Walthamstow. After taking lessons at Vestry Adam went on to further his training at Elmhurst ballet school (lower school) and finished his training at The Royal Ballet School (upper school). He is now dancing with the Northern Ballet Company.
Chi-San continued her training it the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and is now a Movement Director and Choreographer for Theatre, TV and Film.
Adanna was at Vestry for 10yrs. She is in her last year of training at The Northern School of Contemporary Dance and was a category finalist in BBC Young Dancer 2019.
Delycia trained at Vestry for 13yrs. She has performed in musicals: “Guys and Dolls”, “Mama Mia”, “Legally Blonde”, “White Christmas” and “Me and My Girl”
After training at Vestry in Ballet, Drama and Performers up to the age of 16 Dodie went on to achieve a First Class BA Hons in Drama and English at the University of Sussex. Dodie is a now working as a professional freelance actor, theatre-maker and producer.
