Communication regarding COVID-19

11.03.2020

As you are aware, the situation around COVID-19 Coronavirus is constantly changing. The UK government released their action plan on 3 March 2020 and that remains under constant review. I am therefore actively monitoring the situation to stay abreast of official government health and travel advice in order to keep our community safe.

Vestry Action Plan
Vestry is open and operating as normal and all shows are still going ahead. I am in contact with Millfield theatre on a daily basis.
The health and safety of our staff, students, visitors and the wider community is our primary concern, and we are monitoring the situation day-by-day, but ask everyone to stay informed and follow official advice.
Please make sure all pupils wash their hands regularly.

If a member staff or a student tests positive for the Coronavirus, we will immediately consult with Public Health England and follow their advice.

Should we need to close, we will communicate this to you by email and via website updates.

If you have returned from travelling in the last 14 days and have a cough, high temperature or shortness of breath, even if your symptoms are mild: What to do if you think you have symptoms Use the 111 online coronavirus service to find out what to do next.
Do not go to a GP surgery, pharmacy or hospital.
Everyone has a part to play in reducing the risk of catching and spreading the coronavirus. Please refer to the NHS website.

Best wishes
