Teacher Case Study: Ike Fallon

Ike has been training for 15 years in all major genres of dance and in gymnastics and is currently training at the Urdang Academy of dance. He is an All England Champion and former double world champion in modern and a silver medalist in contemporary . He has a gold medal in contemporary at the UK nationals. He has a strong passion for teaching and choreography "there is nothing more satisfying than helping someone unlock their potential". In the future Ike hopes to have his own school, and has said ' I would be pleased if it was even half as successful as Vestry' . Ike joined Vestry in September 2016.

Teacher Case Study: Bethany Davies

Bethany trained at Mountview Academy of theatre arts where she graduated with a BA in Musical Theatre. Since graduating she has worked numerous times with Theatr Clwyd in North Wales, even travelling to Argentina with them to perform a new bilingual musical called Mimosa. Bethany also starred in the BBC FA cup advert in which she got the chance to sing about all things football! Bethany has taught musical theatre at Mountview's Saturday school and has also taught numerous acting, singing and dancing classes at numerous performing arts classes back in North Wales. She is thrilled to be teaching for Vestry!

Ex Pupil case study: Hannah Shakespeare

Hannah started classes at Vestry when she was just 3yrs old. By the time Hannah left at 18yrs old she had taken exams in all genres. Royal Academy of Ballet grade 8: ISTD tap, Advanced 1 ISTD Modern, Advanced 1, AQA GCSE, AS dance and BTEC Performing Arts. She was offered a place at the Urdang Academy but shortly after starting her course was scouted by a top London model agency. Hannah is now gracing the catwalks at London and Paris fashion week and has worked with designers and companies such as Vivienne Westwood, Issey Miyake, Paco Rabane, Mulberry, Julian Macdonald.Grazia magazine, ASOS, Warehouse and Primark.

Ex Pupil case study: Lucy Hopkins

Lucy Hopkins joined Vestry when she was 11 years old and joined all the classes that were on the timetable. Her performance ability went from strength to strength and she later gained a place at Italia Conti Arts Centre where she trained for 3 years on the Musical Theatre course. She gained her ISTD Advanced 2s in all three disciplines (Ballet, Modern and Tap) as well as training in both Aerial and Silks. Lucy also gained her ISTD DDE teaching qualifications in Ballet, Modern and Tap. She is Currently Cruising around the world in her first professional job. We hope sghe will be back early 2018.

Teacher case study: Tracy Au

Tracy began her ballet training in Jean M Wong School of Ballet in Hong Kong and was awarded a scholarship to study ballet at the Zhejiang Vocational Academy of Art. She was awarded the Dame Margot Fonteyn scholarship to continue her training at the English National Ballet School afterwards joining the English National Ballet company. Tracy then went on to dance with the Hong Kong Ballet company and train as a teacher at her first school. She was awarded her Royal Academy of Dancing Solo Seal which is the Highest Vocational ballet examination. Tracy joined Vestry in 2013.

Ex Pupil case study: Kieran Parrott

Born and raised in Walthamstow, Kieran joined Vestry at the later age of 14. He began with once a week drama classes, but soon began taking more classes in singing, dance and performers, and could be found at the Vestry most days of the week. Kieran went on to train at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, gaining a foundation diploma in Musical Theatre, and a degree in Acting and Performing arts. Since graduating in 2014 he went on the become the choreographer for Boheme Productions' 'Shout!' The mod musical, which gained five star reviews at there Edinburgh fringe run. Kieran joined the teaching faculty of Vestry in 2015 and will work with the Performers and older Acting classes on Saturdays.

Ex Pupil case study: Jade Noverre

Jade took her first dance lesson at the age of 5 with Vestry, starting with just once a week ballet classes. After 13 years at the school and taking classes in all performance disciplines, Jade gained a place at Stella Mann College of Performing Arts where she spent 3 years studying Musical Theatre. Whilst at Stella Mann, Jade was selected to be in various tap and jazz performances including the ‘Make-A-Wish’ Valentine’s Ball at the Dorchester Hotel, the ‘Move It’ dance convention at Olympia, London and the IDTA Summer Ball in Blackpool. After Graduating, Jade returned to teach at Vestry to teach Tap and Modern and has gained her ISTD Modern DDI and is currently working towards her ISTD Tap DDI. Most recently, Jade was seen in a Sony advert for their new phone which was shown on billboards and other various media types nationwide.

Ex Pupil case study: Laura Boulter

Laura gained a place at Elmhurst School for Dance in Birmingham at the age of 14 which she attended for two years before moving back to London to complete her training at Central School of Ballet. As part of Ballet Central, the third year touring company, Laura had a chance to work with a range of choreographers and performed extensively around the UK and also in Paris where she danced at the British Embassy. After graduating with a BA Honours Degree she performed as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in two shows, sections of which were prepared for performances at the Royal Albert Hall. She is currently dancing in Japan for Universal Studios "Harry Potter" .We hope she will be back with us in early 2018.

Ex Pupil case study: Holly Weston

Holly Weston was born and raised in Walthamstow, London. She had her early training with Vestry before attending full-time at The Urdang Academy. She started acting classes at The Anna Scher Theatre from the age of sixteen and spent a year at The Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. In 2008 she landed her first lead role alongside Eugene Hutz and Vicky McClure, in Madonna’s directorial debut, Filth and Wisdom, which premiered the Berlin Film Festival. Her next leading role was in the Uk horror film Splintered, playing Sophie, a troubled teen. Other recent credits include Sadie in Law and Order UK for ITV, Fleur in Off the Hook for BBC Grace in Harley Street, ITV. Ash Kane in Channel 4's Hollyoaks, Flor in the TV series The Collection. Her recent film credits include The Danish Girl and Sacracide. Holly played the female lead in a short directed by Academy Award nominee Mike Figgis.

Ex Pupil case study: Sophie Banks

Sophie was born in Walthamstow and as a child started dancing at Vestry school of dance attending once a week. She developed a love for modern dance and joined Vestry’s Performer class which introduced her to musical theatre. At 16 Sophie gained a place at the Brit school of Performing Arts and spent two years training in all aspects of dance. Sophie then gained a place at The Urdang academy on the 3 year diploma course. Sophie graduated in July 2016. Sophie is Cruising around the world in her 1st Professional Job.
